A great tiny museum that has a bunch of good information stuffed inside. An easy 20-30 activity for the kids, and very delicious treats available to buy.
No purchase for admission. Fun scavenger hunt to play and appropriate for any age. Good selection in the store too!
This is a treasure of a Shoppe to go to.
It was a beautiful drive out there from Ozaukee County.
I saw a segment on TV Fox6 and was happy to have seen it on the news.
The Museum was very nice and well laid out, learned a lot actually!!
Found many items to try at home and also as gifting ideas.
The staff were helpful and extremely friendly! I will be back for more honey items.
I went with three kids ages 5, 6, and 7. They were amazed by the live honeycomb and watching the bees in action. They did learn quite a few things that day but the best part was the ice cream sweetened with honey (while I enjoyed the raspberry flavored dark chocolate filled with honey patties). We spent about a half an hour there including walking the 10 minute trail they have behind the building.
Very interesting place to learn about bees, I liked it a lot and my children even more. The gentleman who attends there is very kind.
Daughter Loved it and grab honey chocolate for us from the shop.
This is a really neat little place that was perfect for a summer excursion. The museum is nice and cool and we got a nice break from the heat. The kids learned a lot about bees and making honey! We bought a few things in the shop and we absolutely love the vanilla honey sticks, if they had more than one package I would have bought more!
We were hoping for honey lollipops as well but surprisingly they don’t have any.
A quaint little store and honey museum. There are free samples to try the different products that are made with honey. My favorite part is the sneak peak in a functioning wild beehive inside the museum. Do not expect to spend more than an hour or so, but it is a interesting insight into the importance of bees in our society.
